Airplanes and cookies

Noah gets pretty frustrated with pretty much everything lately giving us a view of the exciting time we will have during his adolescents. So it wasn't a surprise this afternoon when I was making cookies and Noah is trying to make a paper airplane that it turned into an ordeal. He has this book with all of these different paper airplanes and the directions on how to do each one. We did a few together and then I got up to make cookies. Noah tried to do it by himself and was getting really frustrated and close to tears. So I took over and tried to see his mistake and make the airplane. And you know he picked probably the hardest airplane in there and the pictures weren't enough of an explanation. I felt his frustration and wanted to throw the airplane. Which would have been great if it was done. I think my child has inherited my patience level. I often remember being frustrated and upset allot of the time as a kid. Noah also doesn't like to wear jeans and complains about the way his clothes fit daily. Mom, I'm sure you remember that too and I'm sorry.

Deacon is getting pretty funny. We had the missionaries over and he wanted to play rock, paper, scissors with them. A game I didn't know he knew how to play. Well in Deacon's version scissors always wins because it cuts your hand. He is also a little bit of a salesman and when he wants you to let him do something he nods his head and talks positively. Something he may have learned from me. It's a training technique we use at work and he is very good at it.

Jeremy is doing allot better after his surgery. He is still in pain but is taking allot less stronger medicine. One of the side effects of perkestte(spell) is a creapy feeling. Who knew. But it's definitely worth the pain to not feel like that again. He will be off of work until December 26th, but is still seeing his clients. It will be nice to actually see each other this holiday season.

I am enjoying seriving with the Young Women. They have planned our ward's trunk or treat which will be allot of fun. They are a small but great group of girls
